# Graphics DMA integration

Run `bash tests/graphics/run.sh` from the checkout. This connects real Agnus
arbitration, Gary, the physical bank mapper and the SRAM bridge to a delayed
asynchronous SRAM model. A direct custom-register driver isolates this path
from the external 68000 bridge, which has its own integration tests.

The test compares every word of an 8,192-word memory against a software
reference after each blit. Both normal and fast Blitter modes run 50 jobs
(width/height 1–5), including A copies, B/C cookie cuts, first/last masks and
single-word double masking. It verifies the exact write count and rejects
undefined data when the SRAM write ends. SRAM access, pad and return delays
default to 30/10/10 ns and are declared assumptions, not board measurements.

All jobs target the first physical RAM bank in the 2 MB chip configuration.
Other DMA engines are disabled except refresh. This is a focused graphics
data-path test; it does not simulate a Workbench session, games, video scanout
or measured board electrical behavior. Wider Blitter arithmetic, overlap
and immediate-restart coverage lives in `tests/blitter/`.
